It has 55+ year legacy of building and delivering successful acceleration and incubation programs with a broad network of academic and research institutions. SDS Optic as only company from Poland has been invited for the newest edition of Bootcamp which is dedicated to companies interested in expanding their business operations in US. Our Business Chief Officer Mateusz Sagan spent 5 days on pitching sessions, talking about how to move and launch business in United States, legal aspects, IP exploration and protection, medtech and biotech regulatory pathway, reimbursement and patient journey. It was great opportunity to interact with Philadelphia medtech and biotech ecosystem, including bioincubators, great startups, Pennsylvania state authorities and mentoring sessions with several great local personalities.
World Forum for Medicine – Medica 2019 Posted on 16 December 20193 February 2020 by Paulina Czarnecka The world of medical technology meets there – in Dusseldorf. We’ve had the pleasure to present our technology at the World Forum for Medicine – Medica 2019.This is the world’s largest event for the medical sector. For more than 40 years it has been a firm fixture on every expert’s calendar. There are many reasons why MEDICA is so unique. Firstly, the event is the largest medical trade fair in the world – it attracted more than 5,500 exhibitors from 71 countries in 17 halls. Furthermore, each year, leading individuals from the fields of business, research, and politics grace this top-class event with their presence — naturally alongside tens of thousands of national and international experts and decision-makers from the sector. This edition was specialfor us because we’ve had opportunity to present our new and refresh stand. Whole event became succesfull. It was great opportunity to meet interesting people, talk about breakthrough technologies and gain new business contacts. Let’s see some photos.
Breast Fest 2019 the biggest event became great success Posted on 18 November 201918 November 2019 by Paulina Czarnecka In the World Breast Cancer day, we’ve launched the biggest charity event in our company home town. Breast Fest has mobilized many habitants of Lublin City. Hundreds of women has heard about event and visited us at this day. The Breast Fest was organized for the purpose of building awareness of breast cancer among women. Our main aim was to examine as many women as possible. We’ve engaged doctors, oncologists, diagnostics and offered free breast usg examination and mammography. Finally all hours were fully booked. Whole event was organised with support of Polish Amazons Foundation. Every woman has found something for herself, in programme we had: discussion panels, free examinations, special women zone with many benefits for visitors, discounts from local clinics, psychooncologists, personal trainers and dietician advices. Breast Fest 2019 was a great success, the event has enjoyed the honorary patronage of the President of Lublin City.

Mateusz Sagan, SDS Optic Chief Business Officer and Supervisory Board Member, will take part in 2 academic seminars in Rotterdam and Lisbon as well in 4 workshop sessions in Berlin moderated by Euronext and key institutional partners, incl. investment bankers, legal advisers and auditors.#TechShare, launched in September 2015, is the only European programme dedicated to tech companies focused on the future IPO. With annual cohorts of fast‐growing European tech companies, the programme is an educational network designed to help these high‐potential businesses understand the role of capital markets and how they can help them reach the next stage of their growth. Last year, for the first time Euronext welcomed companies from outside its domestic markets, with participants from Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. The 2019-2020 class has a broad diversity with participants from across Europe: 13 from Belgium, 35 from France, 23 from Germany, 6 from Ireland, 12 from Italy, 12 from the Netherlands, 7 from Portugal, 12 from Spain, 12 from Switzerland and exclusively one from Poland. The 132 tech companies participating have convened at Rotterdam’s Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship on 20 and 21 September for an academic campus on capital markets and TechShare 2019/2020 Class Kick-Off.Over the course of two days, top executives from companies in the life sciences, cleantech and TMT industries across Europe have been working with professors from the Rotterdam School of Management under the form of expert sessions and group workshops. Also we were invited to become an AdvaMed member together with our SDS Optic project.
